Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen

Ive now come to conclude that, after seeing Robert on set and all 'Edward-ey" they could not have casted a better Edward

I really dislike it when over at imdb people freak out ROBERT IS NOT EDWARD.
like face the facts you little girl, he has been cast in the movie, does not mean he has to be your edward
he can be the movie edward and your edward can be barney, not shut up!

gosh, I was so happy they cast someone who didn't look like a girl. I swear, some of these teeny bopper rocker dudes that were being gushed about reminded me so much of myself with their feminine features...I was estatic when they cast Robert.
I know a lot of people were all, Oh but he's Cedric!
After seeing all of these pictures, he's anything but that cute do gooder of a boy.
He's so sexy, I can't believe it.
I seriously think Robert Pattinson is going to be one of the great actors, if he can get so into Edward like that.
People are going to be knocked off their seats during the movie.
I don't know how I'm going to stay in mine.

I had never really even considered who I would want to play Edward in the movie. But, then... when I found out it was him I was like "OF COURSE!"

I think he's the perfect Edward, and I think he will do a truly amazing job in the movie.

Absolutely love this choice, and his attitude is just the icing on the cake. Don't you just love how much he smiles on the set? I could stare at those pictures all day.

Thats my favorite video of him! I love how he went from laughing and smiling and then he was all serious. haha that made me laugh, Then he laughed, so then I laughed harder.

I want to meet him SO badly. He seems like such a nice, sweet, funny guy!

I never really thought of him when considering the cast.
But after they announced it I was like "DUH!"
I loved him as Cedric and know that he will do a great job in this role.

I never really had a person that I though of as Edward when I read the books. The closet was Henry Cavill but that didn't really stick (I still think he is hot though). Anyways when I say the pictures of Robert as Edward, at that moment I had an Edward and it was Robert!
