I hope this site kicks off soon because the IMDb boards are waning on me. It's starting to get annoying. Does anyone else notice this?

I seriously feel embarrassed that they are trolling other boards. That's so childish. I'm a fan of Twilight, but I wish it didn't have to be synonymous with being a crazy fangirl.

There are always a few posts that annoy me, but when its just a few I can easily skip them. But right now... those boards are making me cringe. Why are people talking about Hannah Montana? Seriously...why?!?!

Hmmm...yes, trolling HM boards. Because a bunch of 7-15 year old girls are a major threat. And I'm not sure I understand the whole Harry Potter fans vs. Twilight fans...considering I pretty much belong equally in both of those categories. Does that mean I'm waging a war with myself?

I really hope more people join soon. I think the problem is that most of the people left on the IMDB boards aren't 16 yet. I know for a fact that most of the "vets" that used to be online constantly are older...mostly women that were in their 20s or so. But after the IMDB boards got so ridiculous, they all left.

I only browse them anymore. When I first started, I was on those boards for hours at a time. Now one hour, to get in a few good posts on those rare good topics, and I'm done. I think that during one of my many "I'm forgetting about the IMDB boards this weekend" phases, all the vets decided to get up and leave. It's like they all disappeared like Roanoke, and didn't take me with them!

So, hopefully, word will get out and people will join over here.

we need like a massive marketing campaign. I'm gonna bump until I can't bump no more on the IMDB boards.

I made a thread for IMDB topics under Off Topic, General Discussion. I thought maybe it would be a good idea, to try to keep things organized? And apparently, we all feel the same about it, so I thought it'd be nice to have a designated place? What do you think?
